Weekly Update Nov. 27 - Dec. 1 | Winter Celebration, Christmas Hampers

Dear Families,

Thank you for attending Parent-Teacher Conferences. Through our work together as a learning community and partnership we support your child(ren) in achieving academic success and meeting their goals. Thank you for supporting our Book Fair and picking up tickets for the Winter Celebration. We hope that you walked the halls and enjoyed the student’s art work and writing projects displayed on the bulletin boards. Our community is one of HEART (harmony, engagement, adaptability, respect and truth).

Richmond School Winter Celebration 2023

Our Winter Celebration is taking place this year on Thursday, December 14, 2023. We are excited to gather as a school community and share our talents through a series of short performances from all classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Ticket reservations began on Wednesday Nov. 8 using this link: https://forms.office.com/r/UJZZW4bnFW. Tickets are free and are being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to support us in accommodating all parents and guardians, limit tickets to parents/guardians and child siblings of performers until Monday, December 4th. Once submitted, your ticket request will be reviewed and Mr. Goodridge will contact you to confirm the reservation of tickets.

  • November 24 Update
    • The evening performance is now sold out and there are no further tickets available to that performance. Parents/step-parents/guardians and child siblings of performers may still reserve tickets to the Morning (10:00am) or Afternoon (1:15pm) performances. Please use this link: https://forms.office.com/r/UJZZW4bnFW.
    • A limited number of tickets will be available for grandparents/aunts/uncles/etc. for the Morning and Afternoon performances only. The reservation form for these tickets will “go live” at 08:25am on Monday, December 4th. The link will be shared in next week’s Week Ahead message.
    • Reserved tickets will be sent home in your eldest student’s agenda.
    • Please email Mr. Goodridge to let him know if your child(ren) will not be present for the Evening performance.

Please contact Mr. Goodridge (adgoodridge@cbe.ab.ca) with any questions.
