Dear Families,

Students were welcomed back to school after the Fall Break by Alien Inline Skating. Thank you to School (Parent) Council for providing this opportunity for students and to the parent volunteers who are helping out in the gym daily. The week has been short but action packed full of learning activities and students leading with HEART during Community Walks, Off-Site Field Trips and Metis Week.

Richmond School Winter Celebration 2023

Our Winter Celebration is taking place this year on Thursday, December 14 2023. We are excited to gather as a school community and share our talents through a series of short performances from all classes from Kindergarten to Grade 6.

Ticket reservations began on Wednesday Nov. 8using this link: https://forms.office.com/r/UJZZW4bnFW. Tickets are free and are being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. In order to support us in accommodating all parents and guardians, limit tickets to parents/guardians and child siblings of performers. Once submitted, your ticket request will be reviewed and Mr. Goodridge will contact you to confirm the reservation of tickets.

  • November 17 Update: Mr. Goodridge has begun sending confirmations for ticket reservations. If you have not received a confirmation email from him by the end of the day on Monday, November 20, please send him an email.

Reserved tickets will be available for pick-up from the music room during Parent-Teacher Conferences on November 23 and 24. Please contact Mr. Goodridge (adgoodridge@cbe.ab.ca) with any questions.

Annual Christmas Hampers

In preparing for the Holiday Season, we would like to show HEART by supporting our families in need. We would like to request gift cards (preferably to a grocery store or Walmart) or cash (any cash donations will be used to purchase gift cards). The donations will be distributed to 18 identified families. Mrs. Kelly Klassen will accept donations up until Wednesday, December 13, in the Main Office. We thank you in advance for your generosity.
