Weekly Update Nov. 13-17 | Remembrance Day, Book Fair, Inline Skating, Conferences, Winter Celebration, Clubs, School Council

Dear Families,

Our Remembrance Day Assembly was held today. Students showed HEART throughout the assembly which was lead by Mrs. Ryan’s Grade 1 class. Ms. Kathy Rae shared one of her many talents by playing the bagpipes and Ms. Parker’s Grade 3 students recited the poem ‘In Flanders’s Field’. Each class created a Poppy Wreath and two representatives presented the wreath at the assembly. The importance of recognizing Remembrance Day and Indigenous Veterans’ Day was acknowledged through the teaching and learning in the classrooms this week.

We would like to wish our families a Fall Break that is whatever it needs to be for you and your loved ones; happy adventures or time spent together with some fun and relaxation.
