Important: 2026–2027 School Year Update

If you plan on moving and your child(ren) will not be attending Richmond School next year, please inform the office as soon as possible. Our student enrolment numbers are essential for planning the 2026–2027 school year.

Richmond School Spring Celebration 2026 (Grades K–2)

Our Spring Celebration will take place on Thursday, March 12, 2026. We are excited to gather as a school community and share our talents through short performances by Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 students.

There will be two performances on March 12:

• Afternoon Performance: 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM
• Evening Performance: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM

All Kindergarten to Grade 2 classes will perform at both shows.

Tickets are free and distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. To help us accommodate all families, please limit ticket requests to parents/guardians and siblings of performers. Once submitted, your request will be reviewed and Mr. Goodridge will contact you to confirm your reservation.

Ticket reservations for Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 families opened at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, February 17. Please continue to use this link:

Ticket requests for grandparents may be submitted starting at 8:00 AM on Monday, March 2 using the same link. Requests received before this time will not be processed.

Richmond School Council Update

School Council Members

As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we invite parents and guardians to consider joining our School Parent Council. With only a few meetings remaining this year, now is a great time to attend and learn about the council’s contributions to our school.

Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 11 at 6:30 PM.

Most of our current Parent Council members will have children entering Grade 6 next year and will be stepping down. They are committed to supporting new members to ensure a smooth transition.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

• Chair
• Vice Chair
• Treasurer
• Casino Coordinator (next Casino: 2027–2028)
• Fundraising Coordinator
• Events/Volunteer Coordinator

Fun Lunches

The next Healthy Hunger Fun Lunch is Wednesday, March 11 with Mary Brown’s. The order deadline is Friday, March 6.

All parents with children in Grades 1–6 who wish to participate must visit the Healthy Hunger website and follow the registration instructions. Please select RICHMOND SCHOOL from the drop-down menu. Even if you have registered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child’s new class before placing an order. Once registered, you will receive email notifications when new fun lunches are posted.

Please note that the deadline to order is the Friday prior to each Fun Lunch Day.
