Dear Families,
This has been a wonderful week of teaching and learning, students were engaged in learning through fall walks, the outside classroom (HEART Circle) and designed tasks to support their learning.
Today we completed the second practice Fire Drill of the year, students were respectful in following the rules and expectations, exiting the building in a timely manner.
Happy Thanksgiving! Our sincere gratitude for your support of our students and community. As the warm fall weather continues with an array of vibrant colours; we hope that you have an opportunity to appreciate the land on which we live.

New year, new apparel! We are excited to launch our school apparel website for the new school year. You will see all the options from previous years plus a new 75th anniversary crewneck - available in both adult and children sizes!
See below to place your order! Apparel will arrive end of November.
Fun Lunch
The next Fun Lunch with Healthy Hunger is Wednesday, October 23 with McDonalds. The order deadline is Friday, October 18. All parents who have children in Grades 1 - 6 who would like to participate in the school's fun lunches will have to visit the webpage Healthy Hunger and follow the instructions on that page. Please note you will choose RICHMOND SCHOOL (not Richmond Elementary) from the drop down. Even if you have registered/ordered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class in order to place an order. Once registered you will also receive an email notifying you every time a new fun lunch is posted.
Here are the upcoming dates:
- Wed. Nov. 6 Mucho Burrito, order deadline Nov. 1
- Wed. Nov. 20 A&W, order deadline Nov. 15
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
