AMA Patroller Appreciation Day at Heritage Park

Richmond School’s Grade 5 and 6 AMA School Safety patrollers have consistently demonstrated commitment to their community this school year, with over 950 shifts completed. They donned their fluorescent vests every day to keep their classmates safe in rain, shine, sleet or snow. Throughout the school year, patrollers have modelled safe road crossing practices, helped students and parents cross the street safely and fostered qualities of leadership and citizenship. To show appreciation to all the patrollers for their hard work, AMA will be hosting an annual year-end Patrol Appreciation Day at Heritage Park on Thursday, June 6. Thank you to AMA, School Council, parent volunteers, the patrollers themselves, and the school community as a whole for supporting the AMA Patrols program this year!

Talent Show Update

Recording for this year’s talent show is almost complete, with just over 25% of the school population performing! Once all acts are edited and combined into the final video, it will be shared with all classes to enjoy in the last week of school. While the whole video cannot be shared outside the school, the individual acts will be shared with the parents/guardians’ of the students in that act using the email addresses on file. These clips will be shared on or around the last day of school. Be sure to check your email on file, including junk and spam folders, regularly. Thank you for your patience! Please email Mr. Goodridge (adgoodridge@cbe.ab.ca) with any questions.
