Dear Families,
June 1 marked the beginning of National Indigenous History Month in Canada. Richmond students and staff will engage in Indigenous learning throughout the month of June supporting Truth and Reconciliation. We will mark National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 by wearing our Orange shirts.
Students will also be engaged in Activity Day (Sports Day) on Friday, June 21. A variety of stations will be set up for a day of active participation. Volunteers will be needed, a separate message will be out shortly to encourage you to sign up for one of the stations.
Swimming is ongoing through the month of June, thank you to those who have already helped out and those who are up next. We appreciate your HEART!
Bus Registration for 2024/2025
Families are now able to register for school bus service for the 2024-2025 school year. Service levels and proposed fees will remain the same as the current school year. Register using MyCBE by June 16 to be included in route planning over the summer. Paper forms are available at under Forms You Need, please scroll down to Transportation.
AMA Patroller Appreciation Day at Heritage Park
School Patrollers spent a day at Heritage Park with patrollers from across the city. This day is in recognition of the patroller’s year long commitment to support their community by providing a safe place to cross the street when coming to school. Thank you to School Council for funding this event for our students.

Next School Council Meeting - Wednesday June 12 at 6:00 PM ***New day and time
Please join us for a special School Council Meeting where our CBE Trustee Susan Vukadinovic will be joining us for a brief presentation on some of the issues the CBE is facing with budget concerns and rising enrollment. She will also be available to answer questions from our parents! Please join us in this unique opportunity to hear what we can do as parents to support our kids in their education with the CBE.
