Thank you for engaging in conversations with your child(ren)’s teacher during the Parent Teacher Conferences. By working together in harmony our student’s will thrive and achieve many successes throughout the year. Student’s have just completed their Buffalo Challenge (goal) for the school year, we hope that you were able to view and review with your child.
Winter & Spring Celebration
Our Winter Celebration is taking place this year on Thursday, December 12, 2024. We are excited to gather as a school community and share our talents through a series of short performances from classes in grades 3, 4, 5, and 6.
Tickets are free and are being distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket reservations began on Friday Nov. 1 for Parents and Guardians. Ticket reservations for extended family members, such as grandparents, uncles, aunts, cousins, etc. will open on Monday, December 2 at 8:25am. Once submitted, your ticket request will be reviewed and Mr. Goodridge will contact you to confirm the reservation of tickets.

Scholastic Book Fair
Thank you to all of the families who have supported Richmond School’s Scholastic Book Fair. Funds raised will buy new books for the library. It was so nice to see and meet so many of you, I am excited to be your child’s librarian and support their love of reading. Ms. Stephanie
Annual Christmas Hampers
In preparing for the Holiday Season, we would like to show HEART by supporting our families in need. We would like to request gift cards (preferably to a grocery store or Walmart) or cash (any cash donations will be used to purchase gift cards). The donations will be distributed to 20 identified families in need of support. Ms. Gocal or Ms. Chorney will accept donations up until Wednesday, December 11, in the Main Office. We thank you in advance for your generosity.

Richmond School Council Update
Fun Lunch
The next Fun Lunch with Healthy Hunger is Wednesday, December 4 with Subway. The order deadline is TODAY Friday, November 29. All parents who have children in Grades 1 - 6 who would like to participate in the school's fun lunches will have to visit the webpage Healthy Hunger and follow the instructions on that page. Please note you will choose RICHMOND SCHOOL (not Richmond Elementary) from the drop down. Even if you have registered/ordered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class in order to place an order. Once registered you will also receive an email notifying you every time a new fun lunch is posted.
Here are the upcoming dates:
- Wed. Dec. 18 Mary Brown, order deadline, Dec. 13
- Wed. Jan. 15 Edo, order deadline, Jan. 10
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
