Richmond School's Week Ahead April 8 -12
|
Dear Families, We would like to extend out heartfelt gratitude for your support and HEART regarding the changes to the parking and student drop off this week. We had four days of very different weather conditions and the traffic, parking and drop off has been successful. THANK YOU! We will continue to make changes based on the feedback and evidence as student safety comes first and we want to ensure that each and every student arrives to school feeling safe and welcomed by their community. Changes to Parking: THANK YOU to our families who are modelling driver and parking safety to keep students and the community safe, you are making a difference daily. We are looking for a few parent volunteers to help the school with the new parking and drop off configurations coming out soon. If you have a few extra minutes in the morning or at pickup and would like to help the school and safety of our kids please email Nadine at griffithnadine@gmail.com. Being a volunteer has many rewards and you are needed! If we get enough volunteers this time commitment would only be 15 minutes one day a week or every other week, either in the am or pm. Important: We will be keeping students indoors during class time, over recess and lunch breaks, as well as away from windows to the outside between the hours of 11:50 am and 1:50 pm. Next Year School 2024-2025 Update If you plan on moving and your child(ren) will not be attending Richmond School, please let the office know as soon as possible. Our student number count is important in our planning for the upcoming school year 2024-2025. Thank you to families who have already informed us of any changes, your family will be missed next year.
