Dear Families

Thank you for your support in transitioning your child(ren) back to school after your summer adventures. It has been an exciting week welcoming our students and families back; students have quickly adapted to new routines, teachers and classmates. Teaching and learning have begun with HEART (harmony, engagement, adaptability, respect, truth) lessons to ensure a successful year for all students.

The classroom teachers have reached out to their families through an introduction email that would have included some reminders. Please see below:

  • Indoor and outdoor shoes are required
  • Water Bottles (plastic) and a healthy snack
  • Pack In and Out Lunches (all food, plastic and any items in their lunch go home to reduce waste at school and to inform you of child’s lunch needs)
  • Birthdays (no food items or treat bags)
  • Start time is now 8:10 am, teaching and learning begins at 8:15 am (doors are open from 8:10-8:13am, students arriving after this time while need to enter through the Main Entrance and will be marked late.
  • End Time is now 2:45 pm, students will need to be picked up at this time as we do not have supervision after this time.
  • Nut Free School (please ensure all food items are nut free, due to allergies)

School Patrols will start up shortly to support safe crossings at the crosswalks. Reminder to Grade 5 and 6 students to return your patroller form to Mr. Goodridge by Wednesday, September 10.

Important Reminders

The “Richmond School Information Package” for 2025-2026 was sent home this week, we ask that the necessary paperwork comes back to the school by Friday, September 12. Please ensure all online forms are also completed. They will be found in your MyCBE account. Thank you!
