Terry Fox Run
Congratulations, Richmond School! Our Terry Fox fundraising surpassed our goal of $1,700.00. We have raised $2,241.00 this year to help fund cancer research. Great job everyone! Thank you for your donations for this worthwhile cause.
Important Reminders:
Please ensure all online forms are also completed. There are several forms that still need to be completed. These were due September 15. You should have received an email through SchoolMessenger letting you know the Student Demographic Verification Form is still due. They will be found in your MyCBE account. If you are having a problem accessing them please call the School Office. Thank you!

Richmond School Council Update
School Council Casino
Richmond Parent Council has a very important casino fundraiser coming up on Friday, October 24 and Saturday, October 25 at Elbow River Casino. We have the opportunity to host a casino every two years and it raises approximately $80,000 for the school. Without it we would lose so much support to learning and enhancements for the students. A sign-up genius has been created to start filling positions for this casino. One volunteer shift is equivalent to donating $2000 to the school!! Anyone can volunteer for this, including family and friends. No experience or police record check is necessary! If you are available to help, please SIGN UP, and it is greatly appreciated.
Richmond School Apparel
We are pleased to announce our Richmond Apparel Store is once again open for ordering. Please visit the following link if you would like to purchase any Richmond swag for your children or your family. Orders must be received by October10 and will be delivered to the school for pick up in the middle of November.
FundScrip Fundraiser
We are excited to bring back the gift card fundraiser with FundScrip! Order deadline is Friday, November 14, 2025. Forms went home in your child(ren’) backpack this week. Please note: orders cannot be made online, we collect all the forms and do a bulk order to save on shipping costs. We accept cash, cheques and etransfers.
Fun Lunches
The next Fun Lunch with Healthy Hunger is Wednesday, October 15 with Subway. The order deadline is Friday, October 10. All parents with children in Grades 1-6 who wish to participate in the school's fun lunches must visit the Healthy Hunger webpage and follow the instructions provided. Please note you will choose RICHMOND SCHOOL from the drop-down. Even if you have registered/ordered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class in order to place an order. Once registered you will also receive an email notifying you every time a new fun lunch is posted. In the event the kids are not in school full refunds or credit can be issued by Healthy Hunger if you cancel your order online.
Here are the upcoming dates:
- Wednesday, October 15 - Subway, order deadline October 10
- Wednesday, November 19 - Boston Pizza, order deadline November 14
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
