Important Reminders
The “Richmond School Information Package” for 2025-2026 was sent home last week, we ask that the necessary paperwork comes back to the school as they are now due. Please ensure all online forms are also completed. They will be found in your MyCBE account. Thank you!
Terry Fox Run
Our school is excited to take part in the 45th annual Terry Fox Run. Terry started a Marathon of Hope to raise awareness and money to assist with cancer research. Together, we can help his legacy continue.

AMA School Safety Patrols
Prospective Patrollers in grade 5 and grade 6 participated in training this week to prepare them for helping students and families safely cross the street before and after school. Next week, patrollers will be organised into teams and a schedule will be made. Starting on Monday, September 22 student leaders will begin patrolling each day. When driving during patrols please drive carefully and watch for the handheld stop signs. When walking, please wait behind the patrollers at the crosswalks until you hear the call “Proceed”. Our patrollers are looking forward to helping you throughout the year! Please contact Mr. Goodridge (adgoodridge@cbe.ab.ca) with any questions.

Richmond School Council Update
We are excited to kick off the new school year with the first Fun Lunch of the year with A&W on Wednesday, September 17! All parents who have children who would like to participate in the school's fun lunches will have to visit the webpage Healthy Hunger and follow the instructions on that page. Please note that Kindergarten students will not be participating in the Fun Lunch program, as they attend school for half days and are not present during lunch. We appreciate your understanding.
Even if you have registered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class to place an order. Orders for this lunch must be received by the end of today Friday, September 12.
Here are the upcoming dates:

- Wednesday, November 19: Boston Pizza
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
