Dear Families,

We gathered as a school for our Remembrance Day Assembly to remember and honor the brave men, women and Indigenous People who served and continue to serve our country. We learned about the importance of peace, gratitude, and kindness. Through poems, songs and reflections, students showed their respect for those who gave their lives to protect our freedom.

Remembrance Day reminds us that even small acts of kindness and understanding can help make our world a better place.

Please read the important messages below, information of the Winter Celebration will be shared following the Fall Break (no school, Monday, Nov 10 – Wednesday, Nov 12).

Alien Inline Skating

Alien Inline Skating is starting the week of November 17. We are in need of volunteers for our Alien In-line Residency for Phys. Ed. If you are able to volunteer, please fill out the Microsoft Form using the link below.

We require volunteers to assist students with getting their in-line skating equipment on and off, and support novice students as they skate in the gym.

You are required to have a valid security clearance on file with the CBE. If you unsure of the status of your clearance, please contact Ms. Gocal at begocal@cbe.ab.ca.

You are able to select multiple times on the Microsoft form for volunteering. You will see the class name, along with the time that the class will be skating. Please make sure you fill in all pertinent questions, especially your name and email address.

If the link below doesn’t work, please email Mr. Southworth at cnsouthworth@cbe.ab.ca.

Thank you for your support!
