Dear Families,
Students continue to thrive through their work of HEART (harmony, engagement, adaptability, respect, truth) and building character which in turn supports their learning and relationships at school.
Our patrollers were evaluated last week by the Coordinator of the AMA School Safety Patrol. The evaluator praised them and their efforts as a collaborative team during safety operations. She stated the combined efforts can be summarized in one word: Wow!
Thank you to ALL our patrollers and families who support them throughout the year. The students are making a difference daily and ensuring the safety of our community when crossing the roads.

Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser
Spring is here, and we’re excited to kick off our Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser! This is a great opportunity to support our school while adding some fresh beauty to your home or garden with plants, flowers, herbs, and more.
In information sheet and order form went home last week. Please check your child’s backpack.

Fun Lunch
The next Fun Lunch with Healthy Hunger is Wednesday, May 21 with Boston Pizza. The order deadline is Friday, May 16. All parents who have children in Grades 1 - 6 who would like to participate in the school's fun lunches will have to visit the webpage Healthy Hunger and follow the instructions on that page. Please note you will choose RICHMOND SCHOOL (not Richmond Elementary) from the drop down. Even if you have registered/ordered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class in order to place an order. Once registered you will also receive an email notifying you every time a new fun lunch is posted.
Here are the upcoming dates:
- Wed. June 4 Subway, order deadline, May 30
- Wed. June 18 The Lunch Lady, order deadline, June 13
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
