We would like to wish a Happy Mother’s Day to the moms and special people in our students’ lives. We hope you have some family time in the sunshine this weekend.
With rain in the forecast next week, students should be prepared for the wet weather (raincoats, rubber boats, layers, etc.).
Swimming
We would like to take a moment to thank all parents who have already signed up to volunteer for swimming lessons. We have had several parents sign up, however we are still in need of more volunteers for the boys and girls change rooms. We would appreciate if parents could volunteer for multiple classes or days, and if you are available to help other classes, we need the support.
Reminder: the volunteer police clearance must be completed.

Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser
Spring is here, and we’re excited to kick off our Growing Smiles Spring Fundraiser! This is a great opportunity to support our school while adding some fresh beauty to your home or garden with plants, flowers, herbs, and more.

Deadline for orders is May 14, 2024 and pick up will be May 29, 2024 between 3:30-6:00pm in the Richmond Knobhill Community Association parking lot.

Fun Lunch
The next Fun Lunch with Healthy Hunger is Wednesday, May 21 with Boston Pizza. The order deadline is Friday, May 16. All parents who have children in Grades 1 - 6 who would like to participate in the school's fun lunches will have to visit the webpage Healthy Hunger and follow the instructions on that page. Please note you will choose RICHMOND SCHOOL (not Richmond Elementary) from the drop down. Even if you have registered/ordered in previous years, you will need to register again to select your child's new class in order to place an order. Once registered you will also receive an email notifying you every time a new fun lunch is posted.
Here are the upcoming dates:
- Wed. June 4 Subway, order deadline, May 30
- Wed. June 18 The Lunch Lady, order deadline, June 13
The deadline to order is the Friday prior to the Fun Lunch Day.
