Dear Families,

Students were engaged in their learning about the importance of Pink Shirt Day and showed their support for kindness and building a community by wearing pink on Wednesday. Students worked in harmony while learning and sharing their understanding of Black History Month. Adaptability was significant this month due to the extreme low temperatures, ice, puddles and warm spring weather. Thank you for your support!

Students are showing respect to our environment while picking up garbage on the field. We are asking students to also be respectful of our washrooms in the school and we have reviewed our expectations with them. Please ask them to share them with you.

75th Anniversary Celebration

Our Artist in Residency will be in the school over the next two weeks. The students will be creating felt art representing the decades over 75 years of past and present. Student art will be displayed at the 75th Anniversary on the evening of April 10. Thank you for supporting the 75th question of the week, your responses are posted on our bulletin board; creating interesting conversation.
