Thank you for attending our recent parent-teacher conferences. Your involvement and engagement play a vital role in your child’s success, and we truly appreciate the time you took to connect with our teachers.

It is important that we continue working together to support your child’s educational journey. Strong partnerships between home and school help create the best possible learning environment for every student.

As we head into Spring Break, we wish each family a relaxing and enjoyable time. May your break be filled with fun, rest, and a bit of adventure.

We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the remainder of the school year.

Gymnastics

Our next Phys-Ed and Wellness unit will be gymnastics, starting the week of March 30th.

At Richmond School, safety is always our top priority, so we ask that all families send their children to school with the proper clothing for gymnastics.

During the unit, we will be using the following clothing expectations:

Head-to-Toe, Good To Go!

  • Head - Long hair pulled back
  • Ears/Throat/Wrist - No jewelry
  • Shirt - No sweaters, hoodies or loose shirts
  • Waist - Shirt tucked in
  • Pants - Stretchy pants
  • Ankles - Pants rolled up if too long
  • Toes - Running shoes or bare feet

Thanks for your amazing support of our Phys-Ed program.

Richmond School Council Update

Richmond School Council Members
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we are reaching out to invite parents and guardians to consider joining our School Parent Council. With only a few meetings left this year, now is a great time to come to a meeting and learn about parent council and their contributions to our school! Our next meeting is on Wednesday May 13 at 6:30pm.

The majority of our current Parent Council members will have children entering Grade 6 next year and will be stepping down. That said, they are more than willing to support and assist new members to ensure a smooth transition.

We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:

  • Chair
  • Vice Chair
  • Treasurer
  • Casino Coordinator (next Casino is 2027-2028)
  • Fundraising Coordinator
  • Events / Volunteer Coordinator

Any questions please reach out! We are happy to answer any questions you may have!

Staff Appreciation Cart

We have been overwhelmed with the support we have received with the launch of the monthly snack cart for our Staff - thank you very much!  These thoughtful contributions go a long way in showing appreciation for the time, care, and dedication our teachers and support staff bring to Richmond School every day.

We are very grateful for any support families can provide. If you would like to contribute, please sign up using the link below.
