Dear Families

As we move forward into February, the students and staff will be preparing for a couple of special events; the 75th Anniversary and our Spring Celebration. Please see the updates below.

Just a reminder that students should leave all toys, stuffies, stickers, trading cards etc. at home. These items are a distraction to their unstructured play time and often make their way into the classroom as well. Please NO toys etc. at school.

75th Anniversary Celebration

We will be celebrating the 75th Anniversary of Richmond School on Thursday, April 10. There will be an assembly for students, special quests and dignitaries, followed by an Open House for families and community members in the evening.

Spring Celebration 2025

Richmond School is excited to welcome families to our Spring Celebration performances on Thursday March 13, 2025. The Spring Celebration will feature performances from all classes from Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2. We will hold two performances on Thursday March 13, one during regular school hours and one in the evening. All classes from Kindergarten, Grade 1, and Grade 2 will perform in both the afternoon and the evening performances, except for the AM kindergarten class. The AM kindergarten class will only perform in the evening show. The afternoon performance will take place from 1:15pm-2:45pm, and the evening performance will take place from 6:00pm-7:30pm. Doors will open for guests 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.

Due to seating limitations, each guest may attend ONE of the two performances. In order to support us in accommodating all parents and guardians, limit tickets to parents/guardians and school-aged siblings. Performers do not need tickets, but siblings do if they will be requiring a seat.

We are hoping to provide everyone's first choice of performance time, though this may not be possible. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis using a Microsoft Form starting on Monday, February 10. The link for ticket requests will be sent in next week’s Week Ahead message.

Please contact Mr. Goodridge (adgoodridge@cbe.ab.ca) with any questions.
