Final Week
What a wonderful week we have had at our school! Our Activity Day included an Indigenous Games celebration in recognition of National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21 was a real blast. The sun was shining, spirits were high, and students thoroughly enjoyed participating in the many activities throughout the day. It was a meaningful opportunity to celebrate Indigenous culture, traditions, and community.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to our many volunteers who helped make the day such a success. Your time, energy, and support are greatly appreciated. It truly was a day of HEART.
As we celebrate Father's Day this weekend, we extend our warm wishes to all the dads, grandfathers, guardians, and significant adults who play such an important role in the lives of our students. May the sunshine brightly on your special day, and may you enjoy time with family and loved ones.
As we approach the end of another successful school year, we look forward to gathering with our volunteers at our Volunteer Tea on Wednesday and celebrating our Grade 6 students at their Farewell on Thursday.
Thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to finishing the school year together with gratitude and celebration.
Library News
The Library still has a number books overdue for this school year. All books were due back to the Library May 29. Notifications have been sent home with students. Please help your child look at home for these books. The replacement cost for any books not returned or returned damaged has been added to your child’s MyCBE account. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Ms. Stephanie at sjbarclay@cbe.ab.ca.
Richmond School Talent Show 2026
All recording is completed for the Talent show! Performances will be edited together into one video to be shared in classrooms on the last two days of school. Each individual performance will be emailed to the email address on file for each performer at the end of June. Group performances will be emailed home once permission has been received for each member of that group – please keep an eye open for emails from Mr. G. if your child(ren) performed in a group with their peers!
