Growing Smiles Fundraiser
We’re excited to announce the return of our Spring fundraiser, Growing Smiles! This is a wonderful opportunity to support our school while brightening your home and garden with beautiful plants and flowers. Order forms were sent home with students this week. Orders can be placed either by paper form or online, making it easy for everyone to participate.
For paper orders, payment can be made by cash or cheque, and all forms must be submitted by the end of the school day on May 13, 2026. If you prefer to order online using a credit card, please visit: https://richmondschoolcgy.growingsmilesfundraising.com. The deadline for online orders is the end of day on May 14, 2026.
All orders will be ready for pick up on May 28, 2026—just in time for spring planting! Thank you for supporting our Growing Smiles fundraiser and helping our community grow. 🌸
Richmond School Council Members
As we begin planning for the 2026–2027 school year, we are reaching out to invite parents and guardians to consider joining our School Parent Council. With only a few meetings left this year, now is a great time to come to a meeting and learn about parent council and their contributions to our school! Our next meeting is on Wednesday May 13 at 6:30pm.
The majority of our current Parent Council members will have children entering Grade 6 next year and will be stepping down. That said, they are more than willing to support and assist new members to ensure a smooth transition.
We are currently seeking volunteers for the following roles:
- Chair
- Vice Chair
- Treasurer
- Casino Coordinator (next Casino is 2027-2028)
- Fundraising Coordinator
- Events / Volunteer Coordinator
Any questions please reach out! We are happy to answer any questions you may have!
Staff Appreciation Cart
We have been overwhelmed with the support we have received with the launch of the monthly snack cart for our Staff - thank you very much! These thoughtful contributions go a long way in showing appreciation for the time, care, and dedication our teachers and support staff bring to Richmond School every day.
We are very grateful for any support families can provide. If you would like to contribute, please sign up using the link below.
